Languages required: English. Working knowledge of Spanish and/or French will be an advantage.
Expected duration: 30 working days
The Gender Equality and Diversity Branch (GED) of the ILO is seeking expressions of interest from qualified individuals/team of individuals to conduct an independent mid-term evaluation of the project “Improving Indigenous peoples’ access to justice and development through community-based monitoring”; and “Promoting indigenous peoples’ human development and social inclusion in the context of the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development”, which has been funded by the European Commission: European Instrument for Democracy and Human Rights (EIDHR) and Global Public Goods and Challenges (GPGC).
The evaluation will be conducted by an international consultant (or a team) who would be responsible for the final deliverables. For further details about the evaluation, please see the attached TOR.
Candidates intending to submit an expression of interest must supply the following information:
1) A description of how the candidate’s skills, qualifications and experience are relevant to the required qualifications of this assignment.
2) A list of previous evaluations that are relevant to the context and subject matter of this assignment.
3) A statement confirming their availability to conduct this assignment and the daily professional fee expressed in US dollars.
4) A copy of the candidate’s curriculum vitae (which must include information about the qualifications held by the candidate).
5) A statement confirming that the candidate has no previous involvement in the implementation and delivery of the projects of “Improving Indigenous peoples’ access to justice and development through community-based monitoring”; and “Promoting indigenous peoples’ human development and social inclusion in the context of the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development” or a personal relationship with any ILO Officials who are engaged in the project.
6) The names of two referees who can be contacted.
