Second Round of Training on Evaluation for Gewog Administrative Officers

The second round of a three-day training on Evaluation for Gewog Administrative Officers (GAOs) from Sarpang and Tsirang was conducted from September 19th to 21st, 2023, in Gelephu. The training was organized by the Evaluation Association of Bhutan (EAB), in collaboration with the Office of Cabinet Affairs and Strategic Coordination, PMO Office, and UNICEF Country Office.

The primary objectives of the training were as follows:

• To enhance the knowledge and skills of GAOs regarding fundamental evaluation approaches, techniques, and tools for assessing the relevance, efficiency, effectiveness, sustainability, and consistency of gewog-level programs.

• To empower gewog officials to incorporate the findings and insights gained from the evaluation process into program reviews at the local level and contribute to the realization of national objectives.
