Training on Evaluation for Gewog Administrative Officers

The Evaluation Association of Bhutan (EAB), in partnership with the Office of Cabinet Affairs and Strategic Coordination, PMO Office, and UNICEF Country Office, organized a three-day training on evaluation for the Gewog Administrative Officers (GAOs) of Wangdue and Trongsa from 13th to 15th September 2023 in Punakha. The training was conducted due to their crucial role in planning and implementing important programs. The primary objectives of the training were to contribute to the development of an evaluation culture at the grassroots level of governance and enhance the efficiency of local-level planning and implementation. It is particularly vital for local government offices to be aware of evaluation as an integral part of their planning and decision-making processes.
