Training on Evaluation for Gewog Administrative Officers

The Evaluation Association of Bhutan (EAB), in collaboration with the Office of Cabinet Affairs and Strategic Coordination, PMO Office, and UNICEF Country Office, organized a two-day training on Evaluation for Gewog Administrative Officers (GAOs) from Bumthang and Mongar. The training was held from October 26 to 27, 2023, in Bumthang. The objectives of the training were to enhance the knowledge and skills of GAOs in fundamental evaluation approaches, techniques, and tools for assessing the relevance, efficiency, effectiveness, sustainability, and consistency of gewog-level programs. Additionally, it aimed to empower gewog officials to integrate the findings and insights obtained from the evaluation process into program reviews at the local level and contribute to the realization of national objectives.
